What can you do outside of the salon to maintain your hair? Use salon-grade products, don't wash your hair often, and eat clean. Eating fruits and veggies is not only good for your body, it is great for your hair and skin! Don't forget to drink tons of water and make sure you are taking your vitamins. One thing I advise all of my clients that struggle with fine hair or hair loss, is collagen. There are so many benefits to taking collagen. It helps increase the body's hair building proteins which can result in longer, thicker hair. Collagen also promotes bone and joint health and helps improve skin elasticity. I prefer a liquid collagen over a powder because the liquid is a quicker and more convenient way to help support your collagen levels. Don't sleep on collagen, sis!
